Everything you need to know

Here’s your guide to this vital Cloud Native technology

What is Kubernetes?

Kubernetes, sometimes called K8s, is an open-source container orchestration platform that automates application deployment, scaling, and management. Kubernetes was introduced in 2015 by Google; it is built entirely through open-source contributions and is now maintained by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation

It has inspired a number of complementary tools, such as Helm and Istio. K8s is now supported as a first-class service by all the major cloud providers. Kubernetes is a cornerstone of the Cloud Native systems that Container Solutions engineers help their clients design, build, and run, enabling those companies to deliver value to customers faster.

Container Solutions and K8s

We are one of only a handful of companies in the world that is both part of the Kubernetes Training Partner (KTP) programme and a Kubernetes Certified Service Provider (KCSP). Membership to both programmes is based on real-life, customer experience.
